While it may be more of a pub, Faradays is a top-notch drinking destination in Hockley. Along with a slew of real ale and lagers, the bar hosts weekly quizzes, bottomless brunches and stag dos. If that wasn't enough, the watering hole screens all the latest sports such as golf and rugby.
A venue that needs no introduction, BrewDog has it all. Along with its iconic craft beer, the casual bar rustles up the most scrumptious eats. Think charcuterie spreads, superfood salads and plant-based burgers, alongside olives and crispy chips.
If you've never been to The Hockley Arts Club, then you're in for a real treat. Along with creative concoctions, the venue also boasts stunning themed rooms. Head to The Electric Garden for Insta pics or downstairs on the bottom floor for late-night dancing.
Fronting the most beautiful cocktail trees, it comes as no surprise that All Bar One is top-notch for your late-night antics. Perfect for virtually any occasion, the venue slings out the kookiest drinks. The salted caramel old fashioned comes with a side of popcorn. Enough said.
During the warmer months, Junkyard is a great choice for cocktail bars in Nottingham. Located in between Fletcher Gate and Bridlesmith Gate, it fronts a casual atmosphere, outdoor seating and the opportunity to take home your favourite brew in a 64oz flagon.
One of the more hidden bars in Hockley, Lost Property fronts an old-school feel, complete with vintage suitcases, leather booths and furnished antiques. It also has plenty of signature cocktails to keep you well-watered - fab for some illicit sipping.
