Tom Browns - May 2025

At the top of the list of Nottingham's new restaurants is Tom Browns who, after 40 years, shut its doors for what seemed like good in 2024. However, the former brasserie in Gunthorpe is set to reopen over the first bank holiday weekend in May following an impressive £1 million refurbishment thanks to its new owners the Reddington Pub Company.

Under its new identity, the venue will transform into an upscale restaurant and elegant wine bar, offering live music and entertainment to complement the refined atmosphere. You can expect a diverse menu overseen by head chef Hira Thakur, featuring an array of seafood delights. These include lobster, langoustines, and lemon sole, alongside premium steak cuts, as well as freshly prepared sushi and oysters.
