Description
One of the best live music pubs in Sheffield city centre, The Washington is an iconic spot in the city's gig scene. With a history that dates back to the Industrial Revolution, the venue has hosted more than a few famous faces in its time, and was a regular watering hole for the likes of Pulp and The Human League.
These days, the pub is known for its eclectic line-up of gigs and events, championing local talent as well as programming acts from across the country. Their comfortable bar area, with its old-meets-new aesthetic, makes for the perfect pre-show pint-sipping spot, while their 3am license means you can keep the party going until well after the encore.
