Description
One of the oldest pubs in Kelham Island, The Fat Cat is renowned for its traditional feel and excellent range of beers and ales. With a history dating back to 1850, it was one of the first bars in Sheffield serving real ales, and its maintained close connections to local brewers ever since - head out back and you'll spy the Kelham Island Brewery, which has been producing pints on the site since the 1990s.
Inside you'll find comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for after-work or weekend pints with your nearest and dearest. Their brilliant beer garden also makes for a super summer suntrap, so if you're looking to catch some rays and a few real ales, this is certainly the spot to look out for. The eagle-eyed among you might also notice the looming face of Jarvis Cocker watching over you from above their streetside tables - a homage to the city's musical heritage and a fun snap for Pulp fans.
Visitors to The Fat Cat also won't go hungry, as they serve up one of the best pub lunches in Sheffield - think pies, curries and delicious Sunday dinners.
