Join us at the Sheffield School of Gin,  for an immersive gin experience. Learn about gin’s history, explore botanicals, and master the art of distillation.

Guided by our experts, you’ll create your own bespoke gin recipe to distil and bottle to take home.


Sessions: Fridays at 6:30pm, Saturdays at 2:30pm.

The 3.5-hour session includes:

Gin history and insights into Sheffield Dry Gin

Complimentary gin cocktail, Sheffield Dry Gin and tonic, and tastings

Distilling your own gin to take home

A final drink and 20% off food at a True North Brew Co. bar

Sheffield Dry Gin is a premium, award winning small-batch gin that is expertly crafted in the heart of Sheffield City Centre. We combine a selection of locally-sourced ingredients with pure water from the Peak District to create a unique taste that reflects the authenticity and boldness of its birthplace. A truly Northern spirit.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Ticket Purchase: Tickets for the Sheffield School of Gin are available for purchase online via the True North Brew Co. website. Full payment must be made prior to booking your class.
1.2 Booking Confirmation: Upon purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. Please retain this email for your records.
1.3 Our experiences are non-refundable and once booked non-transferrable.
1.4 Vouchers are non-refundable, even if they expire unused. If you have any issues with your booking, please contact us by email at gin@truenorthbrewco.uk

2. Age Restrictions
2.1 Minimum Age Requirement: All participants must be at least 18 years old. Proof of age will be required upon arrival at the event, and we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide valid identification.

3. Cancellations and Changes
3.1 Cancellation by You: Our experiences are non-refundable and once booked non-transferrable.
3.2 Cancellation by Us: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your class, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be offered the option to reschedule for a later date.
3.3 Rescheduling: Once your booking is confirmed your experience is non-transferrable.

4. Event Details
4.1 Session Duration: Each gin-making session lasts approximately 3.5 hours. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
4.2 Included in the Ticket: Your ticket includes:
A welcome cocktail
Sheffield Dry Gin & Tonic
Guided gin-making experience where you create a 500ml bottle of your own gin
Tasting throughout the session
A final drink at one of True North Brew Co.'s bars
4.3 Group Size: Sessions are held in groups of up to 10 people.

5. Accessibility
5.1 Venue Accessibility: Please note that the event takes place on the first floor of the venue, which is not accessible by lift. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can assist you.

6. Personal Conduct
6.1 Alcohol Consumption: Participants are encouraged to enjoy the tastings during the event. However, excessive drinking or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class without refund.

7. Liability
7.1 Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your personal belongings during the class. Sheffield School of Gin is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
7.2 Health & Safety: If you have any medical conditions or allergies that would prevent you from safely participating in the class you must contact us prior to your booking date.

8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1 Data Collection: We collect personal data for the purposes of booking and communication regarding your class.

9. Force Majeure
9.1 Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for any failure to deliver the event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, or government restrictions.
