Bondi Bowling Club

Bondi Bowling Club is one of Syndey's coolest spots for meeting with mates and getting stuck into fun activities. Located on a historical site that was founded down Warners Avenue in 1933 and spanning large, lush green lawns, it offers rounds of barefoot bowls starting at $150 for one hour and ten people. You can look forward to securing an ice-cold pint here, along with a glass of bubbles, red, white or rosé from its lengthy wine list. Pair your beverage with sharing platters featuring mushroom arancini, crispy prawn cones, chicken tenders and more.

Beach Road Hotel

Nicknamed 'The Beachy' by those who frequent its pretty bar on the regular, Beach Road Hotel is a gorgeous hub of local culture, providing space for everyone from sports enthusiasts and party people to those who are looking to catch up with friends over a cool cocktail. It boasts a two-storey layout featuring four island bars, a beer garden that's dog-friendly and an upstairs courtyard adorned with trees. Whether you're looking to catch a DJ set or the Tuesday quiz, you'll want to hang around to sip on Tommy's margaritas, Aperol spritzes or jugs of Pimm's. The food is just as fabulous, with crunchy buttermilk chicken wings, fish tacos and chilli crab linguine on the menu.

Bondi Hardware

What was once a DIY store has been transformed into a super cool bar fronting a secret garden and a plant-covered dining space. Bondi Hardware is a picturesque watering hole on Hall Street that doubles up as a restaurant and events space. Sit among exposed brickwork and dark wooden furnishings to tuck into a menu that centres around small and large sharing plates. Grilled halloumi, Baja fish tacos and Tasmanian crispy skin salmon are up for munching, and to drink? Signature cocktails, of course. Choose from a margarita three ways (and bag them for $15 on Thursdays), a Disaronno and Amaro-based Lychee In Love or a classic espresso martini.

Promenade Bondi Beach

If you're looking for the best bars in Bondi with a view, then you're in luck with this gem. It draws inspiration from coastal scenery, as well as the nostalgic warmth and energy of the Pavilion in the 70s, to provide a fantastic drinking spot by the sea. Promenade Bondi Beach's bar features pretty parasols with dainty red rims and modern white furnishings which together provide a fantastic spot to drink with friends. And on the beach bar menu? Delicious Australian produce in the form of burrata, yellowfin tuna crudo and charcuterie, all looking to be paired with a bespoke, seasonal cocktail. Our favourites include the Berry Pie, made with white rum and sakura syrup, and the frozen watermelon daiquiri.
