The city has been in lockdown for over 100 days, with many of us having to satiate our foodie cravings with takeaways, deliveries and home-cooking (god forbid). But, thankfully, there’s now a light at the end of the tunnel, as restrictions are set to ease from the 11th of October for those of you who are fully vaccinated. And you know what that means? Restaurants, cafés and bars are set to reopen and be the saviour of our hungry tums once again. Considering it’s been so long since you've all been out, we’ve compiled a list of Sydney restaurants taking bookings from October to inspire your eating-out antics.

Green Moustache: This leafy hideout is taking bookings for October, so make your way down to the North Sydney CBD for stunning Aussie fusion eats, botanical cocktails and rooftop views to boot.
The Tilbury Hotel: Open to the people of Potts Point yet again, head over to The Tilbury Hotel to tuck into exciting, contemporary cuisine made from local produce in a bright and airy space.
The North Spoon: Offering you a gorgeous and relaxed place in which to dine, this McMahons Point café is welcoming you back for brunches, lunches and everything in between.
The Village Crown: Have a craving for classic pub grub? This Zetland favourite is back to serving up the goods, with cheeseburgers, pizzas and schnitzel on the go.
The Village Narellan: Dishing out tasty pub bites, tapas and hanging skewers in a pretty setting, this Narellan hotspot is back in business come October.
Surly's: Purveyors of American BBQ eats, Surly's is a sultry restaurant taking reservations in Sydney's Surry Hills once restrictions ease.
The Stoned Crow: If you're looking for hearty pub grub, you're in luck as this North Shore fave is ready to give you a warm welcome from the 11th of October.
Restaurant Hubert: We're happy to say that Restaurant Hubert will not only be slinging out bougie bites once again, but it'll also be bringing their live jazz nights back for that oh-so slinky atmosphere.
The Botanist: Wondering which restaurants are taking bookings in Sydney? This Kirribili beaut is ready to wine and dine you from Friday the 15th of October. Get in.
Masuya: The wait is nearly over, as you can soon get fresh Japanese cuisine from Masuya, with bookings available from the 14th of October.
Babylon: Ah, how we've missed this one. Babylon will be reopening in the CBD from October, so you can soon get your fix of Mediterranean bites.
Kaiza Izakaya: From the 12th of October, this Newtown restaurant will be back at its old tricks, serving up some of the best Japanese food in the city.
Porteño: Meat's back on the menu boys, as this Argentinian BBQ joint is ready to get the grill back on the go from the 12th of October.
Toko: This Surry Hills eatery is taking bookings again, so you'll soon be able to get your fill of sushi, robata-grilled fare and sake.
Bar 83 and Infinity: Sky-high dining will once again be a thing, as this towering CBD restaurant is now taking reservations - just make to be quick as this one books up fast.
Mr Wong: A Merivale restaurant taking bookings for October, Mr Wong is set to be as popular as ever once it reopens, serving up Cantonese cuisine and delish cocktails in a gorge setting.
The Rook CBD: Wondering which restaurants are open in Sydney's CBD? From the 18th of October, The Rook is ready to sling out juicy burgers, rock oysters and more from their pretty rooftop bar.

Chin Chin: Looking for restaurants open in Sydney post-lockdown? Bringing you a fusion of Aussie and South East Asian flavours, this popular Surry Hills hangout has bookings available from as early as the 11th of October.
Bastardo: Italian food just isn't the same delivered, that's why we're hella excited for Bastardo's reopening. Book a table this October and tuck into handmade pasta and creative mains.
