Promenade Bondi Beach

Promenade Bondi Beach is a restaurant, bar and event space that aims to revive the warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the Pavilion so integral to the local community during the 1970s. Its interiors are inspired by the textures and colours of the seaside, focusing on natural forms seen on coastal landscapes, while retaining a modern and elegant feel. 

The restaurant overlooks Bondi Beach and boasts potted plants, and plenty of neutrals, offering a bright and airy space to dine on fresh, sustainable Australian produce. Think whipped tahini with black sesame, spinach and ricotta doppio ravioli, and milk-braised pork ragu pansotti. 

At the beach bar, expect to pull up a sleek white chair and tuck into breakfast from 7am onwards (Manjimup truffle scrambled eggs, anyone?) or a casual bite to eat paired with seasonal cocktails. Plates of saffron Gemelli with king prawns and Tuscan kale, plus yellowfin tuna crudo are available to devour, as well as pizzas washed down with a white rum-based Berry Pie or a Spicy Patron Paloma.

Then there's the kiosk, ideal if you're on the move and want to grab a hot or cold drink alongside a breakfast bun first thing in the morning. Throughout the week there's a host of events, as well as $15 pizzas from 3pm 'til 6pm, Monday to Friday, when you whisper the phrase 'pink dolphin' to your server.
