Description
From the brains behind two of the city's favourite fusion restaurants, Marble BBQ and Tokki, Kobo is a stunning marriage of Japanese omakase, Korean flavours and Australian influence. It's chic as can be, found in Sydney's CBD, where the centrepiece is the marble counter which overlooks the kitchen. There's only enough seating for up to eight people, making for a cool, intimate meal out.
Boasting Jacob Lee as both the owner and the chef, curating the cuisine and serving you with charm, this is a totally unique dining experience. Every three months, he creates a new menu, themed around seasons, regions or memories from his culinary life. And as with traditional omakase, he chooses what you eat; past dishes have taken inspiration from places like Jeju Island, showcasing things like pork bossam poached in broth, elevated with ssamjang. As for drinks? Choose from whisky, soju or wine.
