Afternoon Tea and five-star hotels are a winning combination, that’s not new information; but when one of the world’s most fashionable and exclusive hotels opens its doors for a Brits Photography Exhibition to complement the launch of their new Afternoon Tea menu; tongues are set to be well and truly wagging. And wagging they certainly are.
Opening its doors on the 6th February 2014 'The BRITs Photography Exhibition' at ME London - the official hotel partner of The BRITs – will showcase a dazzling collection of iconic BRIT Awards images from years gone by, running until the 10th March 2014. The Atrium is also playing host to a befittingly huge sculpture of an iconic BRIT award, alongside some of pop music’s most famous faces. Kylie, Cher, JT...Michael Jackson - you’ll meet the whole gang.
Hosted from the beautifully chic Marconi Lounge Bar, the new ‘Floral’ Afternoon Tea menu is as deliciously delectable as you’d imagine, but in true ME style, isn’t the fuddy-duddy soggy sandwiches and clumpy clotted cream combo you might expect from some of its competitors. Offering a hefty menu of loose-leaf teas, modern-takes on classic sandwiches (we’re looking at you, cucumber and tatzki) and gourmet sweet fancies, not to mention a glass or two of quality bubbly, each bite and sip you take is as stylish as the gorgeous décor you’re sat amongst. Exclusive, luxurious, but never pretentious, afternoon tea at ME London is something we should all experience.
The exhibition runs at the ME hotel until March 10th 2014.
