Based in Barry, Academy Espresso Bar is situated in a wonderful grade II listed building formerly a working pumphouse that powered the Barry Dock gates at the once thriving dock yard.
As well as serving outstanding coffee, food and cocktails, Academy Espresso Bar hosts a variety of events with live music sessions, craft workshops and venue hire at the exclusive Underground basement bar.
Situated in the basement of Academy Espresso Bar, Underground is the perfect venue to hold your special event. Whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, an engagement or a corporate event, Underground is definitely 'the place'. An intimate and relaxed atmosphere that incorporates many of the Academy industrial design features with a 'jazz club basement' feel.
297 is a rooftop cocktail bar located on the top floor of Goodsheds. Table reservations are available online and the venue can be privately hired for special occasions.
