One of the Southwest's most popular pizza spots, The Plymouth Stable is set apart with its views over the water. Try and nab a space on their outdoor terrace and get ready to tuck into the likes of sourdough pizza and a long list of local ciders to wash it all down.
Plymouth bars are topped off by Boom Battle Bar, a fun destination for activities, quirky cocktails and hearty sharing bites. Think getting stuck into axe throwing, beer pong, private karaoke and shuffleboard, all with live DJs on weekends.
If you're looking to get away from it all in North Devon, The Boathouse in pretty town Instow should provide some respite. Check into this place for views over the River Torridge and across to Appledore, alongside a stellar menu of British classics.
Nightclubs in Plymouth don't get better than Fever. Along with a buzzing atmosphere and sparkling chandeliers, the venue has plenty of discounted drinks and velvet-clad seating. Shake it until the early hours and keep your eye out for epic events.
Set in the seaside town of Exmouth, The Grove is a beachside Devon pub which has got 'daytime pints' written all over it. After a swim in the sea, head over to this boozer for a large beer garden and mini roof terrace, alongside classic pub grub.
A bright and colourful restaurant in the heart of Exeter, Comptoir Libanais is a short stroll from the train station and promises to add some flavour to a lunch out. From boozy lemonades through to heaped hummus, you won't leave this spot hungry.
