Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs 2025 have been announced and the line up is a knock-out.

What Are The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs Awards?

The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs was created in 2019 with the end goal focused on championing those doing it right in the gastropub sector. The winners were announced on 27th January with another category released titled 'One To Watch'.

Who Won In This Year's Gastropub Awards?

The number one spot for this year's top 50 went to The Unruly Pig in Suffolk, who are no strangers to the accolade, having already won in 2022. Second place was none other than The Devonshire, which is co-owned by Oisín Rogers, Charlie Carroll and Ashley Palmer-Watts. This relatively new addition to London's pub scene is known for serving some of the city's best pints of Guinness with punters spilling out onto the streets of Soho from noon 'til night. The set menu here offers two courses for £25, or three for £29, featuring steak and chips, which in today's market is great value for money.

London certainly waved the flag high for best-in-class gastropubs, with several other pubs crowned including Red Lion & Sun, the Bull & Last, the Harwood Arms, the Baring, the Canton Arms, the Clarence, Camberwell Arms, the Drapers Arms, the Eagle and the Tamil Prince. Elsewhere, top pick of Manchester gastropubs, Edinburgh Castle (a once abandoned Victorian boozer which dates all the way back to 1811), came in at number 16 .
