The Herbalist & Junipers
Description
In the heart of Maidstone town centre, The Herbalist offers an extraordinary open-plan dining experience. With a buzzing stage kitchen and unique & modern interior it really is the place for culinary discovery and one of the only places around where you can enjoy real tank beer delivered directly from the brewery. The bespoke hand-painted light box ceiling honours the great 17th & 18th century botanical pioneers - Nicholas Culpeper and Joseph Banks who left on James Cook’s great voyage in 1766 subsequently documenting the largest collection of plants previously unknown to European science.
Hidden below The Herbalist lies Maidstone’s premier over 21’s cocktail & music venue – Junipers. Descend the stairs and party until the early hours of the morning.
