Description
Sitting in Goodramgate, just a short walk from York Minster, Parliament Square and Deangate, The Old White Swan is a classic British pub with a unique character.
One of York’s oldest pubs, the building dates back to the 16th century. In 1781, the world’s tallest man, Mr O’Brian, was exhibited at the pub, standing at 8 feet tall.
On the menu, you’ll find a great choice of hearty pub food dishes, accompanied by an impressive selection of local cask ales, wines, beers, and spirits. If you’re planning an event, you can book the Georgian Room, which accommodates up to 50 people.
