We were so disappointed with the evening this year, we were at the first one and had started looking at it as a. Important part of our Christmas celebrations. The layout you had before with the food outside & the local Artisan stalls was great. It was lovely to see so many families this year but parents were not looking after their children - just letting them run around loose ( even during the singing which was very annoying) . We were in the 3rd row in front of the singer. We had 2 families with young children behind us that just stood there talking (drinking their own refreshments) and letting their children talk & argue. The microphone didn’t seem to be working for us so when it came to 12 days of Christmas we had no idea what was going on. As we were 3rd row we couldn’t even see what was expected. The food was good but loved the whole atmosphere when we were outside sitting- not inside with the bright lights. People were even opening their own bottles inside your hotel - pleased to see a member of your staff give someone plastic beakers when they asked for champagne glasses for their own Prosecco ( they were also sitting inside- they should have had corkage charged! Sorry- people are starting to take advantage of your free event- from my perspective!
