When everything from anchovies to pineapple can go on a pizza and still be delicious, you know you've got something special.
Whether you’re near a hangover-related death or on a cheeky night out with your mates, pizza is the saviour of all. Literally everyone loves pizza and, by the way it tastes, it loves you too, so it’s darn time it got a festival all to itself. Cue the Big Fat Pizza Festival, coming to the Lab 11 Complex in Digbeth.
Street food curators Taste & Liquor have gathered over 15 independent pizza traders, who will be descending on Britain’s second city with all your favourite toppings – and even some out-there ones you may have missed – making the cut. Five other street food vendors will be participating too, including dessert traders to get your milkshake, ice-cream and chocolate pizza goodness. There’s face-painting and other activities to keep the kids busy, while you’ll be hydrated by different bars and a Big Fat Cocktail Shack. The party keeps going thanks to music festival curators Shaanti with local artists and DJs providing the best backing track to your pizza heaven.
The Big Fat Pizza Festival will be at the Lab 11 Complex in Digbeth, Birmingham on Saturday 29th April 2017, from 12pm to 8pm.
