Revolution Cardiff

Looking to get right amongst it in the centre of the city? Revolution brings a buzzing atmosphere to a prime party spot directly opposite the Castle and just down from the Millennium Stadium. Cardiff stag do groups can shape their party exactly how they like, with traditional dining and buffet options, premium beers and classic cocktails all on the agenda. Get the buckets of beer pre-ordered or line-up a cheeky couple of voddy shots at the bar, as DJs play a pumping mix of dance, funk, soul and R&B bangers.

BrewDog Cardiff

A stag do in Cardiff doesn't have to involve a raucous and wild night of dancing, either. The city also boasts a number of smashing bars and pubs, and amongst our favourites is Brewdog on Westgate Street. Head here for something a little more low-key, with stag groups able to gather around a table and relax while sampling some of the best craft beer on the scene right now. There's a chilled atmosphere to this central Cardiff bar and no less than 30 taps flowing with the good stuff.

Alcotraz Cardiff: Cell Block Nine-One

@ Alcotraz Penitentiary: Cardiff on Various dates from Sunday 22nd December 2024

Have your stag do at a different kind of bar with Alcotraz: Cell Block Nine-One, an immersive speakeasy prison. Put on your orange jumpsuits and get smuggling liquor past the eagle-eyed warden to the 'serving' inmates. Inspired by Hollywood movies and TV, it's truly a one of a kind place for cocktials.

The Head Of Steam Cardiff

The Head of Steam is ideal for pint-fuelled stag dos, thanks to its winning selection of local craft beers and real ales. There's also bar games if you're looking for a night of competitive play at the pool and shuffleboard tables, as well as epic eats like burgers, gyros and tacos.

Boho Club

Perfect for the final night of freedom, Boho Club promises a night filled with dancing, laughter, or a mix of both. With eclectic music ranging from house to R&B, a state-of-the-art sound system, and a VIP lounge that offers expertly crafted cocktails, this club has it all. But don't just take our word for it - come check it out for yourself.

Heidi’s Bier Bar Cardiff

Found on Mill Lane in the city centre, Heidi's Bier Bar is a lively location that's open until 3am every single night. Expect beer towers, craft ale and DJs playing the best of German, Scandinavian and international tunes - guaranteed to get you on the dancefloor.

Big groups can take advantage of their private hire options, or just party in the main bar area. To top it all off, they also host themed bottomless brunches, quiz nights and cocktail masterclasses.

For Your Eyes Only

We couldn't really leave this swish strip club out of our guide to the best bars for a stag do in Cardiff, could we? A luxurious and tasteful space where the groom and his pals can relax and unwind, there's lots of boozy refreshments and 4 private booths with a dedicated waitress and front row views of the girls on stage. For Your Eyes Only also offers the option of bespoke stag party planning, with packages including the Stag on Stage and Bachelor Party Packs.
