Brewhemia

A lively bar and restaurant just off of the Royal Mile, Brewhemia is home to 12 copper tanks filled with award-winning beers, served fresh from their brewery. The decor is inspired by the life of Rabbie Stewart, across five bespoke areas that range from a Scottish taproom to a Parisian cocktail bar and an Italian cafe.

They've also got a stage that sees all sorts of brilliant artists performing on it. From brass bands to drag queens and cabaret stars, you'll find it all here. And while you watch? Tuck into European eats like chicken schnitzel, charcuterie boards, Black Forest burgers and more.

Angels Share

Lunch Offer

A stylish boutique hotel with a bar and restaurant on site, Angels Share is a great dining destination on Hope Street. Expect decadent interiors like crystal chandeliers, plush leather seating and lots of mirrors, as well as live music performances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The menu is just as enticing as the entertainment, featuring the likes of cured bacon cheeseburgers, harissa-spiced lentil and beetroot pastrami or lamb shoulder with fried potatoes.

It's mot all about the entertainment here though, as their restaurant also boasts a sumptuous menu of international fare - think spicy three bean chilli, buttermilk chicken tenders and halloumi burgers.

The Botanist, Edinburgh

One of the most stunning spots on out list, The Botanist is a top choice of cool restaurants with entertainment in Edinburgh city centre. Situated in St James' Quarter, this venue is filled with rustic furnishings, pretty lights and lots of greenery.

Their extensive menu features everything from crispy chicken burgers to mezze boards, as well as their signature hanging kebabs. You can enjoy these with a floral cocktail, while enjoying free live music on the weekends.

They use lights, music, sound effects and an animatronic Frankenstein monster to create this spectacle, while you tuck into everything from 12-inch barbecue chicken pizzas to parmesan and truffle loaded fries.

The German-themed venue also specialises in steins of great beer, which you can enjoy alongside DJ sets on the weekends. Plus, they host Edinburgh's biggest karaoke night on Sundays.

Patina

Make your way over to Edinburgh's West End to discover Patina, a stylish bar and restaurant inspired by both Parisian cafes and late-night jazz bars in New Orleans. They host regular live music performances too, with a focus on 1950s-style jazz.

Sip on creative cocktails while you enjoy the mellow rhythms, paired with a sumptuous food menu. We're talking oxtail ragu pappardelle, fried chicken sandwiches and Scottish cheese plates.

Boteco Do Brasil Edinburgh

Located in the Old Town, Boteco Do Brasil is one of the best themed restaurants in Edinburgh with entertainment almost every night. Inspired by Latin American culture, they play a mix of reggaetón, salsa, bachata, Latin Dance and African tunes - while hosting events such as salsa classes, open mic sessions and DJ-led club nights.

As for the menu? You can expect similar influences in their food, across dishes like fried plantain, pan-fried garlic and chilli prawns or a range of juicy Brazlian burgers.
