Browns Brasserie & Bar Glasgow

One of the best breakfast places in Glasgow has got to be Browns Brasserie & Bar, located in Merchant City. Once the General Post Office, this grand building now features sophisticated interiors and plush velvet seating, where you can enjoy a whole lot of delicious breakfast dishes.

They're famous for their Benedicts, featuring smoked salmon, lobster and spinach as well as the traditional ham. That's not all though, as you can also get your hands on pancetta buttermilk pancakes, shakshuka and more.

All Bar One Glasgow

Tapas Tuesday and 2 other offers

Open from 9am every day of the week, All Bar One isn't just all about cocktails - they cook up a pretty tasty breakfast as well. The stylish venue features modern furnishings, pretty fairy lights and lots of plants, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of St Vincent Street.

They're offering two breakfast dishes for £15 before 12pm every day, and there's lots of delicious options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for a full Scottish breakfast (with vegetarian and vegan alternatives), French toast or truffled scrambled eggs, they've got it all at an affordable price.

Windows Restaurant / Carlton George Hotel

Part of the Carlton George hotel, Windows Restaurant is a seventh-floor rooftop that looks out over the city centre. Open from 7am on weekdays, and 7.30am on weekends, this is a great choice for early morning eats, and there's even an outdoor terrace for the summer months.

Their breakfast menu runs every single day, served buffet-style and costing £19.95 per person, or £16.95 if you pre-book. Tuck into continental treats like freshly baked croissants and fruit, alongside cooked goods including cured back bacon, omelettes and even French toast.

The Brunch Club

For some of the best breakfast in Glasgow's West End, it has to be The Brunch Club. This charming, laid-back venue is dishing out breakfast dishes all day long, so you don't have to worry about getting here early either.

Wondering what's on the menu? Pretty much everything. We're talking full fry-ups, breakfast buns filled with halloumi and avocado or French toast with Nutella and fruit - to name just a few of their dishes.

Derby Lane

Derby Lane is a truly gorgeous spot for breakfast, situated on Argyle Street. The tiki-inspired venue is decked out in vibrant yellow interiors, with lots of floral touches and colourful artwork throughout.

Their breakfast dishes are just as beautiful, and they taste as good as they look. Choose from savoury options such as a rosti stack or smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast, or pick something sweet instead - we recommend the pistachio and raspberry French toast drizzled in white chocolate.

Kilmurry & Co

Situated on Kilmarnock Road in the Shawlands area, Kilmurry & Co is an all-day restaurant that specialises in breakfast fare. The laid-back interiors here feature brown leather seating, wooden tables and brass candelabras, with cafe-style boards that display their menu.

You can get your hands on a full Scottish breakfast for as little as £9 here, as well as Belgian waffles with Biscoff spread, crispy bacon on pancakes or build-your-own morning rolls, all of which will set you back less than a tenner.

Stack & Still

Offering hundreds of different combinations on their extensive menu, Stack & Still is just the thing for those of you with a sweet tooth in the mornings. This is the UK's largest pancake house, located on West George Street and several other Glasgow destinations, featuring a licensed self-dispense bar and coffee roasted on site.

You can build your own pancake stack from toppings such as Oreo crumb, smoked streaky bacon or even Moroccan spiced vegetable ragu - with non-gluten and low-fat pancakes available too. They also offer some signature stacks if you're struggling to choose.

The Ivy Glasgow

If you're after the very best breakfast in Glasgow city centre, The Ivy is a great choice. They serve a morning menu every single day from 8.30am until 11.30am, or 11am on weekends. The stunning venue is full of colourful decor and plants, with checkered tile floors and patterned furniture.

You can enjoy everything from a full Scottish breakfast to eggs Benedict with hand-pulled ham or crushed avocado and roasted tomato on toast. They also offer a breakfast special menu for £16.95 per person, which includes a smoothie or green juice, fresh pastries and a full meat or plant-based fry-up.
