A Drake-inspired chicken wing pop up will be landing in Glasgow this week for the launch of new food and drink market, DockYard Social. A Wing And A Prayer will be serving up a number of dishes, all inspired by the rapper, including Controlla Caribbean Chicken. They'll also be dishing out Teriyaki chicken wings, and vegan buttermilk fried seitan for all the Drizzy-loving herbivores.
The pop up is the brainchild of Glasgow-based artist and creative director Barrington Reeves. Reeves has been responsible for the design and marketing of DockYard social, and during the process he and his clients discovered a mutual affinity for rap and hip hop.
Consequently, A Wing And A Prayer is not the only rap-themed food outlet showcasing at the food market - Wu-Tang Clan have inspired an ice cream stall, C.R.E.A.M, which will be offering frozen treats topped with everything from muffins to popping candy.
A Wing And A Prayer launches as part of DockYard Social on the 30th of November at 95 Haugh Rd, Glasgow G3.
