As the hunger for street food in Glasgow gains momentum, an aptly named, Street Feastival will take over the Barras for four nights over the coming weeks. The work of KILTR, (Scotland's largest social media platform) the festival aims to celebrate community spirit provide Glasgow with the pop-up experience we don't see enough of in this neck of the woods.
The Feastival, (which takes place, 21st & 22th July and 17th & 18th July) hopes to bring together some of the best bars and restaurants in Glasgow as well as a host of cultural, fashion, and musical offerings too.
Pop-up bars will include the Chip Wine Club from the good folks at The Ubiquitous Chip, a Williams Brother's craft beer bar, from the guys behind Inn Deep and a cocktail bar from the talented tenders at The Finnieston. The Finnieston with also be serving up eats along with Stravaigan, Hanoi Bike Shop, Smokey and the Bandit and a host of other great Glasgow restaurants going pop-up for the East End weekender.
Glasgow night clubs won't be forgotten either, with local faves, Pro-Vinylist Karim, David Barbarossa, Esa and Sub Club stalwart Harri, will taking turns at the desks and amping up proceedings by the Barrowlands.
Set to be a special and unique event in Glasgow worth migrating East for. One for foodie fans and ravers alike, as well as those who want to support all the cool and quirky goings on this city has to offer. And best of all, entry is free!
