For a uniquely raucous take on the classic tale, check out The Green Knight But Gay at The Old Hairdresser's. This queer retelling is set on New Year's Eve, following the story of Sir Gawain and all his adventures, which began with the unsuccessful chopping off of The Green Knight's head.
Tickets to the hour-long show start from only £10 per person, featuring a performance by Niall Moorjani and live music from Tom Birch.
If you're after January party nights in Glasgow, check out Manuka. At all of their events (like Juicy Tuesdays and their Saturday parties), you can expect some of the best DJs in the city thumping banger after banger, plus there are VIP booths, dance balconies and killer drinks.
