July 4th Independence Day In Glasgow 2025

Scotland may be some 3000 miles away from America, but that doesn't mean we need another reason to party on July 4th. Our city will be celebrating all things Stateside, from Manhattan-style cocktail bars to Brooklyn-style dive bars, with a backdrop of all-American music. There are plenty of venues that will be putting on special menus, music or events, or you can simply pay ode to all things Uncle Sam with a burger and beer in your favourite neighbourhood bar. Plan to spend your 4th of July in style and check out our list of all things Independence Day in Glasgow.

Sorry, the places listed below don't have online bookings available, but we hope you still find this list useful for your night out!

Campus

Glasgow's very own frat house, Campus Bar on Sauchiehall Street will be the place to be if you're looking for a truly raucous party this Independence Day in Glasgow city centre. With a reputation for throwing some epic nights out, Campus will be the hub of all-things America for a young party crowd, promising live entertainment, beer pong, games and plenty of booze.

The Butchershop Bar & Grill

As a bar and restaurant that was conceived in, and inspired by, New York, The Butchershop Bar and Grill will be a choice venue to spend a sophisticated, but no-less fun, Independence Day in Glasgow. With some of the best steaks in Scotland, along with the serious cocktails a Manhattan mixologist would envy, and the sort of friendliness and hospitality you'd expect from an American eatery - only with some Scottish banter thrown in too, The Butchershop takes the best of NYC's dining and drinking scene and gives it a Glasgow twist. So if you want great food and sensational drinks this July 4th, but with a little refinement as well, The Butchershop is a select spot to spend your Independence Day in Glasgow.
