Tickets start from just £8 per person, including entry, lessons and a free rodeo bull ride for everyone. The Nashville-themed bar will also be slinging out cracking drinks and a variety of US-style eats throughout.

The Corset Club on Virginia Street is hosting their Club Couture event every Friday night - which just happens to fall on Valentine's Day. This unique date night costs only £5 per person to enter, promising a mesmerising drag performance complete with sickening looks, bold performances and raucous entertainment - making for an unforgettable evening with your partner.

Cail Bruich

An award-winning fine dining restaurant on Great Western Road, Cail Bruich is a stylish, modern eatery that showcases the very best of Scottish produce. You'll find exposed brick walls, pale blue leather seats and pretty plants in the dining space, where you can enjoy five or seven-course tasting menus from £110 per person.

Led by head chef Lorna McNee, the talented kitchen team are cooking up regularly changing seasonal menus, with sample dishes including Peterhead monkfish with langoustines or roasted heritage carrot. You can also add on wine pairings, starting at £105 per head.

Stravaigin

One way to celebrate the day of love is with a romantic dinner at a pretty restaurant, and Stravaigin will be a popular spot on the big day, having been recommended by the Michelin guide. Boasting magical, fairy-light-strewn interiors and a droolworthy menu, it really is an ideal restaurant for a special Valentine's treat.

Gamba

Looking for somewhere special to take your other half? Then head to Gamba on West George Street, where you'll find a sleek space full of geometric teal tiles, sultry dark wooden furnishings and low, intimate lighting. Sink into their leather seats for a cosy date night meal, with lots of wine, cocktails and Champagne to enjoy on the side.

They specialise in seafood, with a menu that features everything from sea bass and king scallop sashimi to grilled lemon sole or half Scottish lobster - and don't forget the frozen chocolate cake for dessert.
