What they say:
Master and Servant is the first solo venture from owner and former head-chef Matt Edwards. Matt's CV includes work at St. John Hotel and Hix, Soho London so the food on offer will be a bar-raiser in the Hoxton bar-restaurant collective. The new site will adopt a Manhattan, New York theme and deliver both brilliant cocktails and sumptuous food. The cocktails will be courtesy of trendy Shoreditch basement bar, Happiness Forgets, who will exchange them for food from the kitchens of 'Master and Servant'. The site is set to open on Monday 4th March.
What we say:
Whoever said Londoners are unfriendly? They clearly have not met the people behind new Hoxton venues 'Master and Servant' and basement bar 'Happiness Forgets'. The two sites will share one another's culinary mastery to provide their guests with the best of both worlds; as guests at 'Master and Servant' can enjoy cocktails from Happiness Forgets, and vice versa (replacing the cocktails with food). Master and Servant is the first individual effort from former chef Matt Edwards, and he will bring with him food knowledge that has seen him work at some of the most revered restaurants in town. Master and Servant will open on Monday 4th March so head down and enjoy... your Master commands it!!!
