Larry's
Taking Bookings
Located behind a discreet door on Charing Cross Road, Larry's is an underground cocktail bar and restaurant, hidden within the historic vaults of the National Portrait Gallery. The space has been around since 1896, originally used as coal storage, and it has been reimagined to feature exposed brick walls, bright red decor and sleek gold touches.
They offer a wide range of expertly crafted cocktails, as well as an all-day menu. Their brunch plates are fantastic, but if you're heading here for date night then expect an evening offering of miso roasted aubergine, harissa chicken or beef short rib.
