Fancy heading to the beach without leaving London? Then head to Walthamstow-on-Sea, the beloved summer pop-up from Big Penny Social. Their spacious outdoor area has been transformed into an urban beach, complete with sand, beach huts, games and toys.

This costs £4 to enter, and all ages are welcome. Sip an ice-cold drink from the outdoor bar, paired with a classic whipped ice cream, and they've got fish and chips available too.

Marzamemi Festival

Make your way to Richmond Park this July for a family-friendly, two-day festival, inspired by the coastal Sicilian town of Marzamemi. You'll get to enjoy all things Italian across the weekend, thanks to their lineup of live music and food stalls selling tasty treats like arancini, cannoli and gelato.

The welcoming event features all sorts of entertainment to suit all ages, from cooking workshops to a pop-up cinema showing classic Italian films. As for the kids, they can get involved in face painting, arts and crafts, dressing up and much more.
