London: Glide Battersea Power Station

After the best ice skating rinks in London, UK? Glide is returning to Battersea Power Station this winter and it's sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Sponsored by Jo Malone, the outdoor space will be decked out with string lights, complete with a Christmas tree in the centre.

Cardiff: Winter Wonderland

Taking place in the historic Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Winter Wonderland is a celebration of all things festive. There's an undercover ice rink here, alongside a 150-metre skating walk lined with illuminated reindeer sculptures making for a picturesque journey around the ice.

That's not all that's on offer here though, as there's an Instagrammable sub-zero Ice Bar, a  two-story ski lodge and all sorts of fairground rides, as well as market stalls and street food vendors.

Nottingham: Winter Wonderland

Running from the 13th November to 31st December, Nottingham Winter Wonderland can be found in Old Market Square. This wonderfully festive event not only promises Christmas markets, themed bars and fairground rides, but they've got some pretty great ice skating options too.

Their main rink is a great place to show off your skills, and you can also check out the sky skate path to enjoy views of the city at Christmas while making your way around the icy route.

London: Winter Wonderland

One of the most famous skating spots in the whole country, Winter Wonderland takes over Hyde Park in London every single year, having been around since 2007. They've got a huge ice skating rink that's suitable for all ages, available to book in slots.

There's so much more to see when you're done on the ice, including over 100 different market stalls and plenty of festive food. Plus,, there are several fairground rides, including a giant wheel that provides amazing views of the park and the city beyond.
